Club History

The Niagara Woodworking Club was initially formed in 2008. It operated for seven consecutive years until late 2015 when the club went into a temporary hiatus as membership declined.

Meetings resumed in April 2019 under the direction of a Program Planning Group made up of Kevin Violette, Wayne Smith, and Bob White.

In March 2020, in person meetings were suspended due to pandemic restrictions. Meetings were replaced by virtual events on Facebook (special challenges coordinated through submissions of photos) and email communication.

In April 2022, regular meetings resumed at the North Pelham Community Hall.

Our Story

The journey of the Niagara Woodworking Club began with a passion for the art of woodworking. What started as a small group of enthusiasts has evolved into a thriving club dedicated to advancing woodworking skills and knowledge.

Our members encompass a wide range of woodworking disciplines, each contributing their unique expertise and experiences to our collaborative environment.

We organize monthly meetings that feature engaging presentations, interactiuve demonstrations, and friendly build challenges for prizes. These gatherings provide not only opportunities to learn from experts but also to socialize and network with fellow woodworking enthusiasts.
